For RE:WARM 006RP we present a digital-only remix pack from two good friends of the label, Admin & Emanative. We sent them both the original audio and asked them to do with it as they wished and send us their interpretations on how they would have liked to hear these tracks.

The original tracks have been taken from the mini-album we put out of collected works from DR. Robert Blackman back in 2021 ‘The Unimaginable Deamworks’. A collection of songs taken from two E.Ps and an album that the Dr put out back in the early 1980s on his own imprint ‘Riverwinds’.

We wanted to hear a new take on these tunes with a more modern twist, aimed at a new generation of listeners. We felt that these two guys could deliver exactly what we had in mind and they most certainly did.

Immerse yourself in the psychotropic world that these two have created in their respective studios. Both remixes are heady & raw, remaining true to the naturally organic sounding production of the original songs. These are percussive rituals that lead you into a world of Free Jazz, cross-pollinated with Punk Funk and Disco for the more alternative & open-minded dancefloors.
